Yapı Kredi secured 200 million Euro subordinated loan
On 25 June 2007, Yapı Kredi secured a Euro 200 million 10 year maturity (callable after 5 years) subordinated loan. The loan has been provided by Citibank, N.A., London Branch with all-in-cost of Euribor + 185 basis points and has been assisted by the guarantee of UniCredit.
This subordinated loan allows the Bank to absorb the full impact of the operational risk (as introduced by the BRSA regulation, effective as of June 1st, 2007).
