Superonline and Mobicom
In the Board of Directors' Meeting held on May 8th, 2000 it was decided:
To sell 49.99% of Superonline Uluslararasi Elektronik Bilgilendirme ve Haberlesme Hizmetleri A.S., corresponding to a nominal value of TL 2,499,999,960,000 to Lehman Brothers International (Europe) for an amount of USD 70 million, To sell 9.99% of Mobicom Bilgi İletisim Hizmetleri A.S. corresponding to a nominal value of TL 289,992,000,000 to Lehman Brothers International (Europe) for an amount of USD 2 million, following the necessary permissions, to be received from the Undersecretariat of Treasury.
The gain on the sale of shares of Superonline Uluslararasi Elektronik Bilgilendirme ve Haberlesme Hizmetleri A.S. which is approximately TL 40.8 trillion will be used for further share capital increase in accordance with the temporary Article No:28 of the Corporate Tax Legislation (Tax Holiday).
