Savings Deposit Insurance Fund (SDIF) Payment
Banking Regulation and Supervision Agency (BRSA) completed an audit on saving deposit insurance payments belonging to December 2007–December 2012 period. In the audit report, it is stated that Yapı Kredi has deficient payments due to working accounts which were opened without the customers’ direct instructions. Accordingly, TL 4,201,494.93 has been paid to SDIF for the December 2007 – September 2008 period.
The necessary disclosures in regards to possible payments belonging to other periods within the scope of the audit will be made accordingly.
