Sale of Yapı Kredi Moscow
Yapı Kredi’s BoD took the decision to sell Yapı Kredi’s fully owned subsidiary Yapı Kredi Moscow
On 25 October 2017, Yapı Kredi’s Board of Directors took the decision to sell Yapı Kredi Group’s 100% owned subsidiary “Yapı Kredi Moscow” to Expobank LLC (Expobank). Following the regulatory approval, the share transfer will be finalised.
Expobank serves 7,000 corporate and 36,000 private clients through its 16 branches in 12 cities across Russia, and as a group has banking operations in four other countries aiming to maintain the high level Yapı Kredi Moscow customer service including foreign clients.
UniCredit acted as the financial advisor of Yapı Kredi during the sale process.
