Sale of Non-Performing Loan Portfolio
On 25 June 2014, Yapı Kredi’s Board of Directors resolved to sell a fully provisioned non-performing loan portfolio of credit card and consumer loans amounting to TL 103.8 mln for a total consideration of TL 15.5 mln of which:
- TL 54.3 mln to Destek Varlık Yönetim A.Ş.
- TL 49.5 mln to Girişim Varlık Yönetim A.Ş.
The sale proceeds are expected to be collected on 27 June 2014 and will be reflected in YKB’s 2Q14 financials after the transaction is finalised.
The positive impact of the sale is expected to be ~9 bps on YKB’s bank-only NPL ratio as of June 2014.
